The Pastor's Conference was formed during a
meeting
with Reverend S. H. Hardaway, Reverend C. P Long and
Reverend
A. T. Griffey, Sr.Reverend Hardaway presented the
idea
as a result of attending a pastors' Conference in
Jackson Tennessee. After much praying and
planning the Cumberland River, South Kentucky
Middle Tennessee Baptist District Association
established its first Pastors' Conference. On April
12,
1971, the very first District Pastors' Conference
was
held at the Clarksville Baptist School of Religion. The theme for
the week was "New testament Church Policy." The Guest
Speaker was Dr. J.J. Stevenson who was the State Missionary of
Kentucky Baptist general Association, Paducah, Kentucky. The
week's conference was very productive. Over the past years we
have been blessed with such keynote speakers as Reverend
Robert Wilson, President, National Baptist Congress; Reverend
Austin Bell, Pastor, North Chapel Baptist Church, Hopkinsville
Kentucky; Reverend Lincoln Bingham, Pastor, West End Baptist

conference name was expanded to Pastors' and Minister'
Conference so that it was inclusive of both Pastors and
Ministers. God has blessed us with 37 years of faithful
Pastors' and Ministers' Conference presidents, for this we are
grateful to God. Conference Presidents include: Reverend Jerry G.
